Yesterday was really crazy but in a fun way. I don't think I've thought about what happens after the war...that much before. Even if it was a little confusing.

This City's pretty amazing all by itself though, I mean, even without the curses. I've never seen anywhere else like it. And so many people...all kinds of people. I think, even though none of us are here because we chose to be, it's sort of a good opportunity to do things and meet people we never would get the chance to meet usually...and I'm really happy about that.

I'm not sure about some of the fighting I keep hearing about and seeing. It doesn't seem like it's for self-defense...at all. It'd be nice if people didn't do it...but maybe I'm just not getting the whole picture....um...but fighting usually isn't good at all anyway. It doesn't really get you anywhere if there's no reason behind it uh....well...yeah. The monks taught me that there's usually an alternative way of handling things. And it can be just as effective!

...but sometimes people aren't really interested in getting along to begin with I guess...

ANYWAY! I was thinking of doing some more exploring today. And yes, I know, I'm not supposed to let anything interfere with my training Zuko, I know. I'll make sure I catch up tomorrow, okay? Maybe Appa'll come with me...so I guess I'll be back later.

Guys, this is important.

You can't just go around picking fights with people. It's not what we're here for. It's not what you should be doing. If someone says they want to change, you have to give them the chance or nothing can improve. It's not fair to them. And it's not fair to us. As a team.

As far as I know, we have no way to tell when we'll go back home, or how. But I do know that while we're here, we should do what we can to get along as much as possible.

This is something we have to do. It's something everyone in the world is going to have to once the war is over. So we better start now.
